Cyclist in life threatening condition after hit and run on highway

REDCLIFF, AB -- Redcliff RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding a hit and run Monday night on Highway 1.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8, RCMP responded to a hit and run on the highway just East of Medicine Hat.

A male cyclist heading westbound was hit and left on the side of the road until a driver stopped and called 911.

He was rushed to hospital in life threatening condition, and has since been air-lifted to Calgary.
