REGINA, SASK. - The Medicine Hat Mavericks will play twice on Wednesday to finish their series with the Regina Red Sox.

Rain forced play to be suspended in the bottom of the third inning at Currie Field.

The Red Sox were leading the Mavericks 6-0 at the time of the stoppage.

According to the Red Sox's Twitter account, the game will resume Wednesday at 6 p.m., and will be a nine inning game.

Following the game, the teams will play their regularly scheduled game on Wednesday 30 minutes after the suspended game is finished. The second game will last seven innings.
