City buildings and services closed for Victoria Day

MEDICINE HAT, AB — With Victoria Day coming up on Monday, several city facilities will be closed or running on holiday hours.

City Hall will be closed for the holiday on Monday, but will reopen Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. Other city offices and departments will be closed to observe the holiday.

The Veiner Centre and the Strathcona Centre will also be closed all day on Monday, but will reopen Tuesday morning at 9 a.m.

Waste collection will not take place for Zone 4 on Monday, but will resume Tuesday. The City landfill will remain open on Monday, from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The Family Leisure Centre will be open from noon-5 p.m. on Monday to allow residents to swim and use the facilities available

As for Medicine Hat Transit, it will still be running, but on holiday hours from 10:15 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.
