MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat and District Chamber of Commerce has announced dates for election forums for the 2019 provincial election.

The forums will take place in the Medicine Hat College theatre on April 2 and 3, with the forums beginning at 6:30 p.m.

CHAT News Today plans to livestream the forums on our website on both nights, for those who can’t attend in person.

Candidates from Cypress-Medicine Hat will be in attendance on April 2, while Brooks-Medicine Hat candidates will take the stage on April 3.

Both forums will focus on business-related topics, including business competitiveness, provincial trade, healthy communities and government accountability, according to a release from the Chamber.

The Chamber says portions of the debate will allow for open debate, and there will also be an opportunity for the general public to get responses from the candidates to questions submitted before and during the forums, time-permitting.

Questions can be submitted to policy@medicinehatchamber.com

The forums will also feature meet and greets with the candidates immediately following the event.
